Balcony View—Narberth Youth Theatre launches online platform

WE HOPE that you will draw something from browsing our new platform and come back often.

Like the sketches and shows the young performers of the Narberth Youth Theatre put on, the site is intended to be a medley. It is in essence an information platform that is updated weekly, but waiting in the wings is a whole host of other features.

As well as information about membership, meetings, workshops, news, productions and reviews you will find lots of other useful pointers to what we do.

The platform is an open production. Our Facebook and Twitter feeds appear together with galleries and clips of some of our shows.

For the launch we have the main platform that you see here. The scrolling rss feed is a guide to new article and posts, together with a clip book that adds visuals to the backdrop. The archives page is spring loaded to make finding things like press cuttings and articles about us easy.

In January 2013 we will add our ‘players forum’, a shared information channel for all the young people who contribute and make what we do so special. Parts of this information channel will appear here on the main platform.

We aim to create, harness and develop the platform in ways that will see our foundations online quickly become robust and sustainable. We want to promote what we do in an exciting and collaborative way.

Our aim is to make the platform as accessible as possible for everyone interested in youth theatre both locally and across the length and breadth of Wales.

We have made a start. Enjoy the show.
